Absolute Horses is a growing business, which has led to a strengthening of the administrative team. In this regard, Andreas and Christian have hired Lars Pedersen. He will play an important role in the daily operations of the business alongside Andreas and Christian, collaborating with the rest of the team, both in administration and the stables.

"We've grown to a size where we need more talented individuals on board, and as a COO, Lars was an obvious choice since we know him well and have worked with him for several years. He's very knowledgeable of horses, has a good understanding of the business behind it, and is already familiar with our company. Lars possesses excellent administrative skills and is passionate about the welfare of horses. We know he shares our values and principles," says Christian Schou, Founder, and CEO of Absolute Horses.

Since 2005, Lars Pedersen has been running his own business and has collaborated with Andreas and Christian, particularly in training riders at Absolute Horses. Previously, Lars worked as the Elite Sports Director and national coach at the Danish Equestrian Federation, bringing years of industry experience.

"I'm really looking forward to becoming an even bigger part of Absolute Horses. I've gotten to know Andreas and Christian quite well, first through my role as a national coach from 2012 to 2018 and since 2018 as part of the training team at Absolute Horses. We've always had a good professional relationship, and now we're expanding on that. It will be exciting to get involved in the business of Absolute Horses, which is a significant setup. At the same time, it has been important for me to continue competing myself, and I have the opportunity to do so as part of Absolute Horses. Therefore, I will continue to ride and compete at the level I have horses for, even though I'm naturally at a point in my life where I'm gradually scaling down my own riding career," explains Lars Pedersen.

Absolute Horses is a sales and competition stable with over 200 horses, founded and owned by Andreas and Christian Schou. Some of the horses are stabled at Absolute Horses near Sommersted, where the company's operations take place. The business largely revolves around Andreas as a rider; he trains his top horses alongside the staff riders, who also handle the education of the younger horses on-site. Besides the horses stabled at Absolute Horses, the company owns many horses in training with carefully selected partners across Europe. Hence, a significant part of the company's activity involves finding horses for clients from around the world.

Absolute Horses is driven by a great passion for show jumping, aiming to grow the business into a well-functioning and healthy venture that will eventually lead within the show jumping industry. Apart from Absolute Horses, Andreas and Christian also run Absolute Horsetrucks, through which they facilitate the sale and purchase of both new and used horse trucks to clients around Europe.
