Napoli 5th in the World Cup in Basel

The season 2024 started great in Basel, where Andreas and Napoli VH Nederassenthof ended the show with a 5th place in the World Cup qualifier.

Andreas have participated at the World Cup show in Basel, Switzerland this week. The show started on thursday with a clear round in the 150 cm competition together with Napoli VH Nederassenthof by President/Quasimodo Z, and on friday Lady Corlina by Casiro i/Corlensky G showed herself very capable of competing at this level, jumping clear and ending with a placement in the 5-star 145 cm competition. 

The show ended today with the World Cup qualifier. Andreas and Napoli entered the arena as the second out of 40 competitors, and with a lot of scope and quality Napoli was guided by Andreas to deliver a great clear round. 

Their clear round gave them a spot in the jump-off as one out of eight competitors and with only two clear rounds delivered in the jump-off, their round with one unlucky fence down was enough to secure the 5th place.

“I am very excited about having such a great horse, and I am sure he will be my next championship horse”, Andreas says.

Next show for Andreas will be next weeks World Cup qualifier in Leipzig.
