Prague Playoffs: A great experience
Last week Andreas Schou competed at the Prague Playoffs for the first time, and with great results and experience for both him and our horses Darc de Lux and Lady Corlina.
Darc proved he is among the best horses in the world by making a clear for team Istanbul Warriors in the quarter-final of the GCL Super Cup on Thursday securing a spot for the team in the semi-final on Friday.
In the semi final Andreas rode the 9-year-old Lady Corlina, who stepped up at the highest level with a great round in a tough 160 cm competition—the first in this height for this very talented mare.
The show ended for Andreas with the very exciting Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix, where 16 riders from the season qualified. Over to round the riders competed for the victory, and Andreas did a very good job. In the first round, he delivered a fast clear with Darc de Lux making this pair the last to go in for the second round. In the second round, Darc once again jumped super, but some unfortunate faults kept them from an absolute top placement. They ended 11th.
“It’s been an amazing show and I am so proud of both Darc and Corlina jumping great rounds and performing so well in this huge arena”, tells Andreas about this year’s show in Prague.
The season in the Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League has been amazing for Andreas and his team. It has been a pleasure riding at amazing shows and competing side-by-side with great teammates at Istanbul Warriors.
